About ClayLoft Studio

This former dairy barn is home to Clayloft studio. The kilns are housed under the new edition in what used to be the milk house. The "new" part is an old timber grain building that was dismantled and reassembled on the site by Van Valin Restoration.

It's really a farmette...small and manageable with enough farm charm to keep us happy. Room to have chickens, a small flock of sheep to keep us in woolly comforters, and just the right amount of out
buildings to make swell spaces for creating art.

Our tile is "born in a barn"

Kids pottery class

In the background is the Shed Studio. The old farm shed is an ideal site to hold Kids pottery classes in the summer. Part of the building is still home to our small flock of sheep. Luckily the kids and sheep get along just fine.

Here are a few of our kitties; lazy languid cats sleeping on the stoop. They add charm to the farm, their only job. They are good at it as you can see.

Only a couple get to stay in the big house, the others live large in the barn.
